The Original Sand Tray with Flashcard Holder
I originally made this sand tray because I was inspired by Charlotte Mason's writings. She described a mother pulling out a house drawer filled with sand for young children to learn their ABCs. And so, our design was made.
Your child can use the tray to write in sand or salt, sprinkles or quinoa, etc.
Alternatively, the tray can be used empty for counting, small world play, playdough, and so on. Your imagination is the limit.
Our unique design features a flashcard slot at the top of the tray. This is helpful in holding flashcards to help your child see and make the connection during tracing, if using sand.
Sand tray measures approximately 6 x 10 inches.
Handmade in the USA from hardwood
No dyes or stains are used, only natural linseed oil to seal the wood.
